Sarvoday Ashram, Sanali established by veteran Gandhian Gandhian activist Shri Akabarbhai Chavda in Danta block, a tribal pocket of Banaskantha district of Gujarat on 7th May 1949. Since Its initiation, with the donation of Vatanpremi Palanpuri Shri Ramnikbhai Rajmalbhai Mehta family & various grants provided by the government, the Ashram is marching towards its motto of ‘Sarvodaya’.
Ashram conducts girl’s education campaigns campaign and adult education missions on a large scale.
For outstanding work in the field of education, Rajmani Vidyalaya, a school run by Ashram was awarded the ‘Best School Award’ in 1988 by Govt. of Gujarat.
Shri Virchandbhai Panchal Principal, Rajmani Vidyalaya was awarded the ‘Best Teacher Award’ by Govt. of Gujarat & Govt. of India in 1995 & 2001 respectively.
At present these schools and hostels are extended in another premise at Dalpura in the Danta Tribal pocket. There are 1 Ashramshala, 2 Kanya Ashramshala, 1 primary, 2 secondary & higher secondary, and 3 boys & 2 girls hostels having a total of 1,800 students including 1,100 residential students between both the premises.
Apart from educational activities, the Institute runs Sarva Dharma Prarthana Mandir at Sanali which is being managed by female students. Vitrag Pankhighar at Dalpura is managing various Jivadaya activities. To facilitate the villagers, the post office is also located on the Sanali campus. Various activities like NCC, NSS, Scout & Guide are also run.
Banaskantha district Sarvoday Yojna is run by the Institute for betterment Betterment of downtrodden downtrodden. Students of the institute have shown tremendous success in sports at various levels including the national level.

Rajmani Vidyalaya is situated amidst the hilly terrain of the Aravalli range in the Danta block of Banaskantha district, at the confluence of the Kidi and Mankodi rivers. It is a socio-educational organization dedicated to uplift the underprivileged children of the tribal classes. The institution works tirelessly for the holistic development of these children. It’s various branches extend its influence far and wide across the state through its activities. The organization continues to receive support from donors for its noble endeavors.

Kendriya Kanya Ashram Shala managed by the Central Girls Ashram School received approval under the Low Literacy Project of the Central Government in the year 1993-94, allowing for the establishment of tribal children’s hostels from grades 1 to 5. The Central Government provided a grant of Rs. 9,50,000/- for the construction of the first hostel building, which serves as both residence for children and boarding for students. In this complex, five staff quarters have been constructed. Currently, classes from grades 1 to 8 are run accommodating 162 students.

The Kanya Ashramshala in Dalpura, overseen by Shri H. R. Mehta , was founded in 2001 with humble beginnings, its structure initially composed of mud and bamboo. Thanks to the generous donation from Shri Harshadbhai R. Mehta. The school now possesses a new and vibrant building, emboding a philanthropic vision to provide quality education to the community’s children. Over the years, the school has seen significant growth, starting with just 20 girls in Grade 1 and expanding to accommodate 150 recognized students today, with many alumni excelling in various government and semi-government institutions.

Shri Sarvoday Ashram Sanali operates B.K. Bhanasali Highschool, Dalpura, which was established on 2/7/1984 through the efforts of the esteemed Akbarbhai Chavda, a dedicated Gandhian and freedom fighter. With continuous efforts, the institution has progressed under the diligent leadership of Shri Chhotubhai Champaneri, the trustee, and the former headmaster Shri V.D. Panchal, along with the guidance of Acharya Kanchanbhai Prajapati.
