The Kanya Ashramshala in Dalpura, overseen by Shri H. R. Mehta, was founded in 2001 with humble beginnings, its structure initially composed of mud and bamboo. Thanks to the generous donation from Shri Harshadbhai R. Mehta. The school now possesses a new and vibrant building, embodying a philanthropic vision to provide quality education to the community’s children. Over the years, the school has seen significant growth, starting with just 20 girls in Grade 1 and expanding to accommodate 150 recognized students today, with many alumni excelling in various government and semi-government institutions.
Operated under the auspices of the Office of the Tribal Commissioner, our residential school adheres to government regulations and provides essential services for its 150 students. Each student is eligible for a monthly grant covering expenses such as school contingencies, medical aid, and housing maintenance. All staff members residing on the premises as per government mandate, actively engage in the holistic development of the students, offering special educational sessions and participating in extracurricular activities such as debates, quizzes, excursions, and sports competitions. This dedication to both academic and personal growth underscores the Ashramshala’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals within the community.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your unwavering dedication and valuable contributions to our school’s shared vision. At H.R. Mehta Ashramshala, we are committed to nurturing an environment characterized by excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.
Together, let us uphold the core values that define our institution: integrity, innovation, and inclusivity. As we embark on this collective journey, I encourage every member of our school community to actively engage in shaping the future of our beloved institution. Your passion and commitment play a pivotal role in fostering an environment where every individual has the opportunity to flourish and achieve their full potential. With our combined efforts, I am confident that we will continue to inspire and empower generations of learners.
